![]() ![]() Professor Utonium started to realize that whenever Bliss got excited, enraged, terrified, upset, or basically any feeling, her feelings would mix with her powers, and would cause destruction. Professor Utonium loved Bliss and raised her the same way he'd raised his three future girls, but it was only a matter of time before Bliss' powers started coming into play and proving their danger. Thus, "The Perfect Little Girl" was born, which he named " Blisstina Francesca Francia Mariam Alicia Utonium", or " Bliss" for short. He added sugar, spice, and everything nice into his concoction, but accidentally added in Chemical W, giving his creation superpowers. Bliss's creation happened when Professor Utonium got into a science-off with a rival scientist, Professor Newtronium, who had just created the Perfect Little Boy solely out of artificial ingredients and can fly so Utonium attempted to do the same thing, with the only difference being the gender and to fly further. ![]() She is about 8 years older than the girls, making her about 14. Daniel Ross ( Mickey and Minnie Wish Upon a Christmas) also briefly voiced Donald Duck from 2017 to 2021.The birth of Bliss was years before the creation of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. Tony Anselmo ( DuckTales) took up the mantle of Donald Duck in 1985, and portrays the character presently, accurately imitating the voice that Nash coined. Nash voiced Donald for hundreds of shorts and features, with his final feature film role as Donald being Mickey's Christmas Carol in 1983, just two years prior to his passing, though he continued to lend his talents as Donald for commercials and promotional material until 1985. Since then, Donald has been given a backstory, family, a significant other, and even his own wartime propaganda cartoon.ĭonald Duck's unforgettable voice was developed by Clarence Nash, who reportedly began imitating animals in early childhood. Known for his raspy, partially-intelligible, and frenzied speech, Donald Duck first appeared in the 1934 short The Wise Little Hen, but his hilariously short-tempered personality wasn't fully formed until he successfully became Mickey's comedic foil in Orphan's Benefit, which marked the first time Mickey and Donald appeared together. If Mickey isn't one of the most memorable cartoon character voices developed by Disney, then that honor would go to Donald Duck. That seems to be the guiding principle for all the actors, including current voice Bret Iwan, who took over in 2009. One of the actors, Wayne Allwine, who was the voice through the 80s, 90s, and 00s, said former voice Jimmy MacDonald told him, “you’re only filling in for the boss,” meaning Disney. All told, fifteen different people have provided Mickey’s voice over the past nearly ninety years, all using the distinct, somewhat shy falsetto that began with Disney. In those first talkie appearances, he was voiced by his creator, Walt Disney. When audiences first saw him in the black and white short Steamboat Willie-the first cartoon to synchronize sound and picture - he was non-verbal aside from some whistling and high-pitched squeaks that hinted at the voice to come in later appearances Dating all the way back to 1928, he's among the oldest animated characters of all time, and sports one of the most recognizable cartoon character voices. Arguably the most recognizable animated character in the world, Mickey was, of course, the creation of Walt Disney himself. ![]()
